Sisters. [ Medina County, child photographer]

I have been waiting to photograph these sister’s since the winter. It seemed to drag on this year or maybe just extra long because I was anxious to photograph these tween girls.  We had so much fun and I was thankful for such a gorgeous day. Mom suggested the place and I could not have been more happy with the resulting images. The only down fall was the morning after I realized I am not as young as I use to be and was quite soar from walking around the park.  I truly have no words for these images. The girls were perfect models! I think the images speak for themselves.

So many reasons to blog

I have so many reasons to blog.  And have seen that I have not been on for a long while. It is just a down fall. Facebook is so much more convenient for me these busy Spring days.

First, and for most, I have entered a contest to win my dream camera a Canon Mark iii. Oh I wish and hope and pray for this camera. I have such a need for a full frame camera. I am busy with last minute 2013 h.s. Seniors and 2014 Seniors, Families, newborns and have 2 weddings booked for July.. So I want to say a :

Second, Come October I Heart Faces will be holding an amazing exciting informative conference right down the way from me in Columbus, Ohio. I will be helping out and am beyond excited to be part of such a great opportunity. So they have given me a fancy badge to post on my blog, what a great excuse to write a post.

Lastly, since no photography blog post is complete without a few images. I finally took the advice of fellow photographers and booked a photo play date for myself. To do something new, a stylized shoot, something to learn and try. I did that this morning. I have been wanting to try this location for a while. I have been collecting things for this outfit for a few months. Today it all came together and little miss even cooperated. So much fun. TBH, I have more not-so-wonderful images but the ones that worked I am very pleased with.

A technique I wanted to try with my own challenging child to get a cute serious face.. it worked.

Easter Mini Sessions announced..

We are so excited to announce Easter Mini Session will be here soon, very soon.

I will post on my Facebook page next week when I will start taking sign ups. I will do my best to get you in the time slot you request. I am offering 6 times on both dates. On the hour and on the half hour.
Depending on the response I may add a week day as well.
  Please understand that I am borrowing a live, real bunny. He will only be here on the 9th. Those session will also require a waiver to be signed. These will be emailed to you after your deposit has been made.
A deposit of $30 will need to be made an hour after I send out the invoices, through PayPal. If no payment is made that time will be opened back up. If you don’t have a PayPal account you may mail or drop off the deposit. I will allow for the delay up to 2 days.

Love, an I Heart Faces Challenge 2013

The last day of 2012 I had the great honor of witnessing a wedding based on Love. It was a small intimate wedding.   Colossians 3:14 was their key verse. I thought this image summed up the feeling of the day.

These kids are A-dorable! [medina, Ohio children photographer]

I have been capturing these adorable littles for a couple of years now.  This time we met at their home and that made all the difference. They were more comfortable and gave me so many great ‘real’ smiles. And they all have the cutest dimples.

Hard to believe ‘J’ is in preschool. She is so  beautiful.

‘E’ just had a birthday and looks like a little boy now. No more baby face, sorry mommy!

I just took baby ‘A’s one year photos this summer and already she has changed so much. So much personality. Love her.

Well really I love them all. With faces like this how can you not.

Plus, their mommy is a dear friend. We have wonderful coffee conversations. I love their whole family.
